Today we visited the Chevy Chase Community Center located at 5601 Connecticut Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20015. It was our third stop on the 2022 DC DPR (Department of Parks & Recreation) Senior City Tour!

Once again Zealous Services, Inc and the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington accompanied us. The weather was fabulous and YMCA Senior Fitness Instructor William Yates stole the show!

The From The Scroll volunteer crew setup shop with our Executive Director, Deborah Pair Chandler and demonstrated how to play the boardgame FRUIT.

Marion Speight, Director of the Senior Activities Division of DC DPR hosted this event. DPR Administrator Michael Wilson was kind enough to pose for photos, as was Mr. Yates. The CEO of Zealous Services Inc., Kyla Smith-Hutchison, her daughter Courtney Holmes and Guy Colston joined in the fun!

Everyone had a fantastic time! Recently reopened after an extended COVID closing, this location will be scheduling numerous future events!
