We are overjoyed to continue our participation in the 2022 DC DPR (Department of Parks & Recreation) Senior City Tour!

Today we visited the Volta Park Recreation Center located in Georgetown at 1555 34th St., NW, Washington, DC 20007. We joined forces with Zealous Services, Inc and the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington. This event took advantage of beautiful weather and was held outdoors. The From The Scroll volunteers, side-by-side with our Executive Director, Deborah Pair Chandler explained & demonstrated how to play several of our games.

Marion Speight and Michael Wilson from the Senior Activities Division of DC DPR hosted this event. DPR Ranger Mike Snowden dropped in and was kind enough to pose for photos. Also in attendance were the CEO of Zealous Services Inc., Kyla Smith-Hutchison and Guy Colston who serves in the dual capacities of COO for Zealous and Director of Operations for From The Scroll, LLC.

Everyone had a wonderful time! We look forward to returning to this location for future events!
